Convert Excel File to DXF for Survey

I'm looking for a way to convert an Excel file (xls, csv) to a DXF. I do topographic surveys which are exported into an Excel file with values for x, y, elevation, point number, and description. In the past I have used a program called Surfer to convert a CSV file into three DXF files, which I then import into AutoCADLT. I use this data to draw a 2D map. Each point shows up as a symbol (I like to use an "x") with the elevation, point number, and description.  

Surfer doesn't work on a newer computer I'm using, and was wondering if anyone has any websites or simple programs which can accomplish this task.
