City Blueprint Font

Why does the City blueprint font plot so light?

Hi,
Try to change "Oblique Angle" under Format>Text Style
and let me know if it works

I don't find "oblique angle" for City Blueprint in my version
of AutoCAD LT 2000. I would like to know if others do
have this option.

Yes, in my version under Format>Text Style... in the effects section of
the Text Style window I can set the Oblique angle. It defaults to
zero, but just entering a low number like one or two causes the font to
get "bolder" in the little preview window. How it looks when printed, I
don't know.
