change color of tick mark in dimensions

I want to set up a dimension for use as a standard for our office.  I like the architectural tick marks to be darker than the other lines.  I have searched the dimension style properties and can not find a way to do this.  I have a dimension from a past job that shows this customization.  I can't figure out how they did it.  Any help with this type of customizing?

Thanks in advance!

The dimtick is a block that can be edited. You can use refedit or the block editor commands to do with it what you wish. Save the results in your master template file(s) and give the DIMSTYLE a unique name.

If you already have what you want in another DWG file, you can use that file are base of a new TEMPLATE file that will also have it available.

HI @jimiz73

Were you able to get your question answered?

If not post back with any other additional information if necessary, like a drawing file of the older dimension style you want to copy.

Thanks.
