Cannot install AutoCAD LT 2016 on Windows 8.1 through Parallels

I used the trial version for 30 days and everything worked fine. Once I purchased the product I could not get access to the program because they told me to contact my administrator for access.  I am the administrator though. So I uninstalled AutoCAD 2016 LT and tried to reinstall, thinking this would help. Now I cannot even install the program.

There was no need to uninstall LT2016: you just start ABOUT command and add in the new license information and press the Activate button.

So what exact error do you get? are you trying to install across the web, or did you actually have the +1gig download file on your PC? Elaborate please.

I clicked the Install Now button in the AutoDesk account. The file is only 14.6 MB

Use the WEB BROWSER download option instead: file is a little over 1Gig I believe. Know where the file is being saved to, then double-click on that to start the installation.

Review these as well:

I downloaded from my web browser. It was about a 1.3 G file. I enter my
serial and product key and it begins to install, then a few minutes later a
message appears on the screen. Please see attached. I don't know what the
problem is.

so see where in blue letters on that pop-up it says INSTALLATION LOG FILE? That's where the error is listed, go in there, save it to a file, and post it here.

The pop-up screenshot is useless and tells no one anything anything other than it did not install.
