When I attempt to log in to Autodesk so I can use the geographical imagery an error pops up and won't go away no mater how long I wait.

Welcome & thank you for posting.
This can happen from time to time if any changes have occurred in your environment such as security settings. Please try to reset the LoginState file by removing it with the steps outlined below:
1. With Windows Explorer browse to C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Web Services.
2. Delete the file "LoginState.xml"
3. Restart Autodesk application and sign in using your valid email address
