Hi

Need to Retrieve an older drawing. Does autocad save drawings automatically? and how can I view these saved drawings?

If you can't find a .sv$ file in C:\Users\%yourusername%\AppData\Local\Temp which is the default area it saves temp files then I believe you won't be able to.

The first file to check is the .bak file that is in the same folder as your file. It is the same file that was saved previously. Change the extension to .dwg in order to open it.

If your computer/server uses windows backup you could rightclick the folder your drawing is in and click "Restore previous versions" to find your old drawing
