callout balloons

Does anyone know if there is an expedient way to place information "callout" ballons in an LT2000 drawing?

A typical standard is to create a block of balloon form with one or
more attributes, then use the leader command's block option to attach
this block to a leader.

the only problem with this is that the size of the balloon will need to be scaled with the scale factor of the drawing. the way we do it is to use multiline text instead of attaching a block and use 2 pick points minimum for your leader. this is the fastest way to callout items. just remember to change the text height before you start notating your drawing.
