CAD to PDF

I have Word 2013 and AutoCAD 2010.  When I use the method directly through CAD to PDF into a word document the "window" around the drawing to too big to allow the correct size drawing with the word document text. I have to convert the CAD drawing in CAD, save and then open it in Word through the "Object" command.  The drawing is not sharp.  If there are vdimensioning, it is hard to read.  If the drawing has to be enlarged at all the lines blurr.

Can you tell me how I might get CAD drawings into Word documents clear and sharp and the correct size?

Instead of scaling the image to make it fit in MSWord, how about you PLOT it to PDF at the correct paper size and correct scale needed instead?

You are so wonderful to help me.  I am a beginner at this. I hate to bother you for more, but I have done as you suggested IN AUTOCAD 2010, PLOT and clicked on DWG to PDF.pc3 from Name Box.  I tried "Fit to Page" than inserted into Word.  But if I had to enlarge the lines became blurred.  So I changed to "Custom" and used various sizes closest to the size I wanted, using the largest image possible.  This DID work best, but I still did not like some of the inserted drawings.

But it is wonderful to have soemone tell me that this is the best way!!!!!  Thank you so much

I have tried inserting CAD drawing into Word another way.  I would like you to comment on it.

I convert the DWG file to an EPS file to open it in Photoshop.  Before converting the DWG file to an EPS file, I added the EPS plotter (Postscript Level 2).

I then brought up the drawing I wanted to make an EPS and changed PLOTTER to Postscript Level 2 and saved.

I opened Photoshop and open the EPS drawing into Photoshop.  (This process is used by interior designers who want to "decorate" drawing.)

But I just want to change it unto a PDF through Photoshop as that should give a sharper image.

I then saved as a PDF the EPS drawing.  Then I went to Word and opened it using "Object".

The CAD drawing has sharp clear lines and within the cropped window I made inPhotoshop.  However the black lines were gray.  The other color slightly muted.  How do I make the lines darker??!!

This way gives sharper lines, but pale copaired to the making PDF in AutoCAD and opening them in Word.  Neither way is perfect.

Any suggestions?
