Hi All,
Im using autocad lt and struggling with creating button.
Is there any way we can insert/create buttons like you can do in eg. powerpoint or visio.
I tried to copy them to autocad but they loss quality.
Please find attached.
Many thanks.
Buttons in AutoCAD LT? Do you mean images, you can insert an image into AutoCAD LT the quality depends on the quality of the original image. But there are no 'active' buttons in LT maybe am image linked to a hyperlink or something like that. Otherwise, give us a bit more description of what you are trying to achieve.
Thanks Steve for getting back.
Yes, I meant an image that looks like a button - not 'action' button. I thought that there are some symbols in autocad that look like a button rather than copying button image from elsewhere.
I have to be honest, the type of image you show in your first post would be a challenge to create in AutoCAD LT, the shape is no problem but the colors would be difficult. Yes LT has the 'solid' hatch to give objects a color, even a gradient hatch, but it would take a lot of work to try and reproduce that type of 'graphical' finish. If you need that to be shown in AutoCAD LT, I would certainly look at importing an image from somewhere else. If you want to create it in AutoCAD LT and export it for use in other software? I would say it is a waste of your time, at least financially, you could do it much more efficiently in a program designed for graphics.
But if you like the challenge and have time to kill then solid hatching and gradient hatching would be the way to go, plus using polylines maybe with the offset command to draw each area for the individual hatches.
