blocks /xrefs disappearing when inserting / moving item

I am working on a basic layout with only a couple of xrefs, the Blocks / xrefs are hiding themselves when I move something, they are not coming back when refreshing the screen. Ctrl A (select all) tells me the items are there, I have wblocked these, reopend a new page, but the problem keeps happening.

Does this only happen with this dwg or does it happen in multiple dwgs?

Do you have latest updates installed? Do a screen capture of About command and post that here

Is your graphics card certified? Do a screen capture of GraphicsConfig command and post that here
