Block editor and zoom crash

Hi everyone, I tried to find a solution in this conversations: https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/autocad-lt-forum/block-editor-close-and-crash/m-p/4377140#M116012 but it seems not to be my case.

I have no images on my drawing, and sometimes AutoCAD LT 2016 crashes also when I try to zoom in.

Which one it could be my problem? I'm wasting a lot of time, because when I re-open AutoCAD, there is no recovery drawing available.

Can anyone help me?

I have AutoCAD 2016 LT

Is this a sudden new problem, or a problem with only one file or one block? LT21016 sure is not new, so what else is?

Is LT2016 fully patched and updated? Use ABOUT command to find out.

Sorry, my fault.

I have AutoCAD LT 2018, not the 2016 version.

As far as I know, it's fully patched and updated.

I just had a look at the last available updates that maybe I could miss, but they don't seem to match with my problem.

Using ABOUT command, the only relevant information seems to be Product Version 0.49.0.0

It's not a new problem, it's more or less since when I changed my computer that I have this problem.

It's happening with a lot of blocks, but not with all of them

0.49.0.0 tells me it's not updated at all, so no, you're not fully patched or updated. Go get the updates either through the Desktop App or the Updates link at your accounts log-in page https://manage.autodesk.com/cep/#products-services/all
Restart Windows and test it again.

Perhaps your blocks are corrupt instead: it has to happen to all of them for it to be a program error.
If the problem persists after you update... Post one or more of these blocks in a single DWG file and walk us through what it is you do and how it crashes.

I'll try to update everything first, and if the problem persists, I'll post one of the blocks!

Thanks.

Hi everyone.

I just finished to update my AutoCAD, but the problem it's not solved yet.

I was zooming in, and the program crashed without any reason. So it'n not a problem of the blocks.

I had to end the task from the Task Manager of windows 10. This time there was a recovery version of my drawing, but most of the times I lose all the unsaved work!

Some suggestion to solve this annoying issue?

It was me from the office account, sorry for that.

If someone can delete the previous message, maybe the conversation will be more clear. Sorry again!
