OK, I have created a lot of block in a drawing so I can use them in Design Centre.

Whilst creating the blocks I have used the Block Definition Dialogue Box

I there a way to call this dialogue box up if I want to check the blocks? When I try to interrogate the block the block editor comes up but not this dialogue box.

Are you talking about the block description? It should appear just below the preview of the block when the block editor screen appears

Hi @ JamesPowell7164,

Would be able to provide a screenshot of you what to populate? It'll help give me a better idea of what you are asking for.

Thanks.

Yes I am looking to see if the dialogue box that appears when you are creating the block can be recalled. I have made slight mistakes when naming the blocks and need to change them. Unfortunately the only way I know how to do that is to explode the block and "start all over again" (that makes me sound really old).

How do you put a screen dump on here - I have tried to cut and paste but it doesn't seem to work. I could then show you the box I am trying to call up.

Morning Dean

No, I haven't put the drawing into the ADCENTER yet. I am just compiling it and am trying to correct some of the definitions first.

More haste less speed - and there are some little mistakes that need tweaking (spelling mistakes really).

I would like to put a screen shot on the page but I have used the windows CTRL C and CTRL V but nothing is pasted into the page. 😞

You can change the description inside the block itself.

Go into the block editor as normal and call up the properties dialog box. Make sure nothing in selected. Look to the bottom of the properties and you will see a section called BLOCK if it's not expanded, expand it and look for a section titled DESCRIPTION
