Block creation default properties

Since version 2023 (if I remember right), the default properties for newly created blocks changed from "Allow exploding? Yes" to "Allow exploding? No".  Is there a way to change it back to the way it used to be, to allow exploding?

If the answer is no, then is there a way to force-explode blocks without going through the tedious steps of changing the properties one at a time?

not sure if that's true with LT but in AutoCAD 2024 when I enter the BLOCK command the default to Allow exploding blocks is automatically checked:

Hi amin,

there is no "default" setting, not in 2023 and not in earlier versions (except the "default" setting of a new install or a new profile),

the settings of this dialog is saved in your Profile and should open the same like you used it at last.

Please set to to "Allow exploding?" - Yes, create one block.

Close Acad

Start Acad, start BLOCK command and check the setting.

Is "Allow exploding?" set to No?

In this case it is't a standard AutoCAD issue and I think that you have a lot more trouble than you currently know.

Hi,

Since Autocad LT have LISP API, sure. So in LT2024 = Yes, in LT2023 = No

You will find tools to change one or all block to explodeable-yes, search for it.
