Big Caslon.shx Fount is Missing

Hi.

I’m using Windows to run my AutoCAD LT.

When I received the drawings from my client, it’s shown a message as “Big Caslon.shx” front missing.

My client is a MAC user.

Where can I download “Big Caslon.shx” font? How can I fix it?

Hi,

Without your file we don't know if the file is really in use or not,

   but no matters about it:

>>"Where can I download “Big Caslon.shx” font?  "

As first question, it is the wrong question. Ask your client about all for well display needed files,

command ETRANSMIT (with the option to incl. font files) is an easy way to share most of all data.

>>"How can I fix it? "

1. Make the right “Big Caslon.shx” reachable for the program (after you get them),

add it to your personal/company support folder for such support stuff.

2. Only for someone with the knowledge about how: Check where the shx file is used or not,

if it isn't is use, remove the big font from the style.

Ask your client for the missing content you need to see your client's file without issues.
You know, like if your UberEats delivery shows up with the missing fries you want, you don't go ask your neighbor to fix it, you call UberEats.

Thank you for your responses.

The font is not shown correctly in the drawings, and I already asked the client.

I just need to get that font file and install it into my AutoCAD program folder.

Do you know where I can get it?

You get the font from your client. if they do not have it, then they never used it either, so you don't need it.
You could try a websearch nd hope it is the correct font, but if the client did not have it then why bother.

Installing an SHX font is as simple as...
Copy the .shx files into the Fonts folder within the AutoCAD program folder:
C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 20xx\Fonts

You must restart the AutoCAD/LT program to use it. Again, restart AutoCAD.
