What's the best software that is an exact copy of AutoCAD LT? It's been years since I used autocad, I'm just looking for something I can use to learn and keep up my drafting skills without having to pay a monthly fee. ETA: I tried out librecad https://tutuappx.com/ , I'm looking for something that will open dwg files as well.

Thanks in advance.

No such thing exists.

Explore these offerings yourself to determine what best works for you:

https://all3dp.com/2/best-autocad-alternatives/
https://www.google.com/search?q=alternates+to+autocad

Side Note: I seriously doubt any employer out there is actually looking for "an exact copy" experienced LT-only user out there. if they specify, they'll want specific detailed experience in one of the vertical versions of AutoCAD like Civil/Map/Mechanical/ARCH/MEP etc.

AND.. if you want better pay for the long term, you need to be training in REVIT and INVENTOR / Fusion360 (the latter has a free 'hobbyist' option).

Good luck.
