backward/reverse dimension text

backward/reverse dimension text

Upgraded from '08 LT to 2020 LT and haven't had too many issues until today.

Have tried to edit an existing drawing and add dimensions in model space.

All the dimensions come in reversed and upside down.

I've used MA to match to an existing dimension that shows correctly in the drawing. Nothing.

Also saved it as a different file. No change.

Also used all the different Dim styles and no change - they all do it.

This is the only drawing so far with this problem - all the others dimension aligned correctly.

Any sys var that will fix this? I couldn't find a single example of this online through a google search using reversed or backwards dimension text.

Hence why I'm here. Thanks for the help ahead of time.

Your 'ucs' or your 'view' is incorrect.

Try typing 'ucs' <enter> then 'w' <enter>

Then type 'plan' <enter><enter>

That should fix the problem, but this might turn everything the wrong way round, it depends on the settings to start with, if it does just undo a couple of steps and then post your drawing here.

Perfect. Thanks so much. Not something I even noticed was flipped, but someone with all my clicks and pop-up screens that show up now in 2020 it got changed without me knowing.

This worked.   I changed the Text Style (font) in the Dimension Properties of the offending dimensions from Arial to Times, and the dimensions print out correctly (although they don't look as good as Arial).

I only changed the ones on that sheet that were printing backwards, the rest continued to print out correctly.   I tried other fonts, and they all worked except for Arial.

My drwg was already had UCS & Plan set to World, so that didn't help.

How do I post a dwg. I've tried the UCS World, Plan Enter, Enter, ...all it did was rotate everything in the drawing.
