Hi I'm looking for macro that I can start to run that will allow me to number numerous units sequentially. Currently we use the text command and repeat. An example is in the picture attached where I typed C1, then C2 etc.
I've had a look on this forum as well as things across the web but cant get any to work:

https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/autocad-lt-forum/autonumbering-autocad-lt-2018/td-p/7605962
If it helps, I'm using Autocad LT 2023. Could anyone please help me write a macro? Preferably with the capability to have a letter before each number like you can see in the picture I attached.
That's annoying! Hopefully we can get 2024 because there's some Lee Mac Lisps that would also be extremely useful!

I have tested few Lee Mac lisps and so far quite a few of them work like a charm.
The LISP Customization forum is also a good place to go searching for unique lisp routines that you might find very useful too, explore once you get your hands on LT2024 https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/visual-lisp-autolisp-and-general/bd-p/130
Thanks for the heads up. The main Lee Mac LISP that would save us a lot of time is the bounding box LISP as we often have curved units and need to determine the minimum amount of material required which can be quite time consuming if you have 50 bespoke pieces!

That one works beautifully in LT2024
Once you have version 2024, you might want to try out these lisps:
