AutoCAD plotting issue. Plotting out as A3 instead of A1

AutoCAD plotting issue. Plotting out as  A3 instead of A1, plotting from drawing layout.

The problem seems to be AutoCAD as the only way I can print in the correct size is by PDF all my drawings and sending to the plotter this way. Everytime I plot directly, the print comes out smaller than it should be. For exampl an A1 print will print on an A1 sheet but the image will be 4 times smaller.

You don't mention what is the printer, but check the PROPERTIES of the printer from AutoCad print window. There is "media size" setting there, and also check the "Custop properties" from there.

If plotting to PDF shows no issues, it's likely the "other driver" as noted by others. So...
Plotting to what plotter?
What plotter driver?
What are you PLOT parameters? (screenshot would suffice).
