AutoCAD LT - Xref automatically being insert in angle

Hi there,

I am wondering if someone give some clues here.

I got a survey drawing, which was imported to cad before it was sent to us, and it was drawn in angle (north up).

Even though I rotate the drawing to the position we required, every time I insert this file as a Xref it come in its original rotation. 

Any ideas on how to fix this?

As you can read in your second picture, it is not roated!

But your current View and Crosshair are rotated / or the current ucs.

Save a copy of your file, as Backup.

Command: PLAN current

Now, your view is ortho to the current ucs.

or (go one step back)

all to WCS

Command: UCS world

Command: PLAN world

[F1] UCS PLAN and perhaps SNAPANG

I think you like to have that :

@leticia.campanelli You lost track of your UCS and PLAN commands settings: look both up in HELP, come back and ask if you get lost somewhere.

I can see now that it is the UCS that is rotate in the original drawing.

What is the best way to sort this out?

Should I rotate the drawing to match the World UCS or change the UCS?

Is there a way to change the UCS and make it the World?

@leticia.campanelli set UCS and PLAN commands to WORLD if you need to remove all the visible rotation in that file.
