AutoCAD LT profile

I am a CAD system Admin. I installed
AutoCAD LT 2002 on my PC and added customerized
configuration under 'Tool + Options..'. I
wonder where I can export the 'profile' just
like I did in regular AutoCAD 2002. Then I
can import the 'profile' for any users
when I do AutoCAD LT 2002 for them.
Can someone tell me how to do it? Thanks!

Jessica

No 'profiles' in LT: one of the many things you give up by buying the
cheaper LT version.

Hi, Jessica,

the only possible solution as I see is to use 'manual' profiles ...

I will explain:
AutoCAD uses many profiles, saved in the Registry UNDER
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk\AutoCAD\R15.0\ACAD-1:409\Profiles\
lename>

AutoCAD LT uses a single, fixed profile named
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk\AutoCAD
LT\R8\ACLT-1:407\Profiles\<> or similar (I have a German LT)

If you would like to manage, multiple profiles, you may export that Registry
key into a *.reg file;
then, you can manually edit the profile (or even edit the profile's
parameters under "Options"),
then save the modified profile with different *.reg filename ....

To activate a particular profile, simply doubleclick the *.reg file and
import this settings into the Registry (LT must not run at this moment !).

I hope, this yould help a bit
Greetings
