AutoCAD LT installation problems

I am trying to download AutoCAD LT via my subscription.  I have followed the pre-installation steps that Autodesk recommends (i.e. closed all other programs, shut down security firewalls, etc.).  It is a brand new computer and a new installation, so there are no previous versions of AutoCAD on this computer.  When I click on Install Now, the install never seems to commence; I just get the spinning wheel continuously.  I left it over the weekend to see if it was just slow, but still had the spinning wheel when I came in this morning.

 

Any suggestions?

INSTALL NOW is a terrible way to do it IMHO. use the browser download option.
OR
Download your LT2016 or lower software with this method instead https://knowledge.autodesk.com/customer-service/account-management/software-downloads/previous-versi...

The program is now installed on my machine, but now when I try to open it, its says that I don't have permission and to contact my administrator.  I went to management under my profile, then went to user access and tried to add myself as a user, but, once again, I got the endless spinning wheel.  Anyone else encounter this?
