autocad lt 2019 freezes when using hatch patterns

After importing hatch patterns previously used in older versions of autocad lt, autocad lt 2019 freezes when I try to use them.  It seems I can only use the limited hatch patterns that come installed.  It is not an issue of the pattern being too dense or the drawing being too big.  After installing the patterns and creating a link to them via support file search path, they appear in my hatch pull down menu, but quickly freeze the drawing after being applied.

This happens in ALL files or just one?
Does this happen in a new blank drawing file?
If you select a closed PLINE border instead of just clicking inside to let AutocAD search for a boundary, does that hep?
Do you have all updates installed? ABOUT command should like your version as LT2019.1.2 if it is.

It happens in all drawings.  If I open drawings created in autocadlt 2018 (with any imported hatch) the drawings freeze. If I create a new drawing using aclt 2019 and add more than a couple of instances of imported hatch, the drawing freezes.  I have scoured help looking for a solution but nothing seems to help.

Can you share one of those 2018 files here to test in 2019?

What are you calling "imported hatch" exactly? What does that mean?

Here is the drawing in question.
I've tried to open other drawings created in acadlt 2018 with acadlt2019
and they freeze as well.
By imported hatch, I mean a hatch I found on line and added to acadlt.pat.
I have used this same hatch pattern for years. It's not just this hatch,
though. Any drawings that have hatch other than what comes standard with
acadlt, freeze up.
Thank you for your time with this.

Nothing attached: you have to come to the website to post files.
