Because it works on the other computers I would hazard a guess the problem is the computer, but it's only certain files.
The computer/programme works fine with the majority which makes me think its the files :-S
Have you tried running through some file clean up steps for the files that are having the fatal error issue? Fatal errors can happen for various reasons. I would try the steps that Dean suggested along with a few other file clean up steps suggested here and below.
- Run RECOVERALL, at the command line and select drawing, save drawing and close.
- Run RECOVER, at the command line and select drawing.
- (-)PURGE > Regapps > Enter>No
- (-)PURGE>ALL> Enter>No
- AUDIT> Yes
- PURGE > Select Purge nested items> Select Automatically purge orphaned data > Purge All
- (-)SCALESEDIT
- CTRL+A > OVERKILL (Warning: use this command with caution, running the command modifies your geometry by deleting objects you may need.Save a copy of the original file in case of any unwanted changes. )
- Close and Save newly purged file (ex. CLEANED_file)
- Apply workflow.
Have you tried resetting your settings to default and work in those specific files does the issue still happen?
If you have resolved your issue and have the time please mark the post that helped you and or post what worked for you.
Thanks.
