autocad lt 2015 freezes and crashing when saving

Hi, autocad lt 2015 keeps crashing, asking me send report and I keep loosing all the data, bak files are not updating. This happens for no particular reason, normal drafting...been trying to save manually often, I froze many time doing this...

I have a new GPU Nvidia gtx 1080 ti, used to have a Quadro 2000, not sure if this causing the problem, but Can install the quadro back, have 2 GPUs and run autocad qith the quadro?

any other ideas how to fix this?

Hi, thanks for your reply. Did that several times but no fixes were provided.

sorry can’t give much more, this happens during normal drafting. I am manually saving very often and sometimes looks like the save icon gets stuck and then autocad freezes and doesn’t even let me save anything and no recovery file was created.

i also got the error message described in my earlier message...as you can understand this behavior is very disruptive to my work. I have to find a solution but not sure what else to do...

LT2015 is not fully supported in Win10 , read this https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/learn-explore/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Windows-...

Try disabling hardware acceleration since note you have a new GPU, use GRAPHICSCONFIG command for the task. If that solves the issue, you need either newer (or more likely) older GPU drivers for your old software to be stable.

LT2015 needs to be fully patched and updated too, do so now https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad-lt/downloads?release=2015

These folks have tips for running old software in Windows 10 hat is worth checking out http;//www.longbowsoftware.com
