AutoCAD LT 2012 Not Responding

I am running a Windows 7 Professional, 64-bit computer and trying to open AutoCAD LT 2012.

When opening any file or just the program (which opens the previously opened file), it loads in, then stops when the program is fully loaded. It loads to a white screen, the grid screen, or the fully loaded project, however it freezes after opening. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but no success. Chat with one of the AUTOCAD staff directed me here.

The only possible problem I would think this could be is that this is the new computer. Only one person is using this copy of AUTOCAD LT, and it was only on his old computer. He has upgraded now to a new computer, but the serial number and product key are the same as on the old computer. Could this be the cause of why AUTOCAD isn't responding after opening?

This generates no logs, no extra windows, and can only close through task manager.

So it's been this way since the move to the new PC (with Windows 7)?
If you disconnect that PC from the internet and the network and any drivers, does LT2012 still have a problem completing a startup?

I disconnected the other computer and it had the same result. Any other possible solutions? It opened one file fine, but then stopped after opening the second file. (I opened the first file maybe four times to check). Could this just be a corrupt file then?

Are you testing with only two files? Can you open other files, other than these two?

All of them have the same result, after the first one not being able to be opened.

Is the user log-in a very limited account in WIndows?
If another user log-in is used on that PC, with admin rights (like yourself), does the problem go away:?

It is the only account, and only he uses the computer. Running as admin doesn't change

Use RECOVER command to open all these files: can you do more than one?
If the file contains XREFS, you need to use RECOVERALL command instead.

Is the command in the cmd? If it's in the autocad program, I can't access it.

RECOVER is a core command, RECOVERALL may or may not be, I'm not running an old a version as you. You can type both at the commandline. They work like OPEN command does.
