That's going to be a tough one since it's a 15 year old application. I'm surprised you have a PC and O/S old enough to support this that is still running.

Good luck.

Hi @Anonymous,

Downloads are not available for products outside our support range.
You can try to check with an Autodesk Authorized Reseller if they have a spare copy.

Cheers,

I have the same problem. And it is not all that difficult. I use VMWare, My computer runs with windows 10+. I installed the VMWARE software and on that platform I installed windows XP, and LT2002 worked fine for a couple of years. Now I had a problem with the windows software and reinstalled that. That meant everything on it, including VWWARE with LT2002 was deleted. Installing it again was no problem till I had to download servicepack 3 belonging to XP, and that servicepack cannot be found. I am installing LT2002 now on my windows 10 and it works but I cannot register, it keeps on telling me there's scripts failing. And in a short while it will delete itself? I only can open it 14 days it says.

So, If anyone knows how to register I would be very happy.

LT2002 is not supported in Win10 and Autodesk will never help you figure out how to do it

For most users these free tips help a lot http://www.howtogeek.com/228689/how-to-make-old-programs-work-on-windows-10/

For others they purchase a fix from these folks http://www.longbowsoftware.com

Good luck.

Goodmorning Dean.

Your tip was very helpful. I opened windows XP in vmware, installed autocad lt2002 and opened it as administrator. That brought me on a autocad website where I got an authorizationcode. This works. I still have a problem with the registering of XP so have to work on that, may have to do that by phone.
After finding out this works I installed lt2002 on the windows10 platform and opened it, again, as administrator. Inserted the authorizationcode I got on the XP platform and it runs fine. Will start working with it later today and will find out if there still are some surprises hidden that I may come across later in the process. So far it looks okay! I sense a feeling of upcoming happiness here, 😉

Thanks again for the tip!

Hi, I had to refine it a bit because it started out well but then stopped and after restarting worked for awhile and stopped again. There was a recoverfile made every time it stopped but it was very annoying to have to start the programme all the time.
So I started searching again and I found a website from Microsoft where a similar problem was posted. They advised to rightclick on the programmeicon (I am working in windows 10 here) next click properties and then compatibility. In that little window there is the choice for a lot of old windows types starting with W95. For the lt2002 version I picked XP servicepack 3 and I did work for only 5 minutes, then there was the F1 race 😉
I start working with it now.

Frank.
