When I try to attach a file (pdf underlay) CAD freezes. It freezes before the Windows explorer window opens to select a file. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no changes. All other commands seem to work without incident.

It appears DropBox came out with an update over the weekend that may cause issues opening files when using older versions of Autodesk products. We have heard from our customers that the issue may present as:

-          Crashing

-          Freezing

-          Lagging

-          Product unable to open at all

-          Give an error of “Not Responding”

-          Unable to save new files

This article walks you through removing DropBox and doing a restart. It appears reinstalling Dropbox does not fix the issue, so we advise waiting until a patch is released by DropBox.
