AutoCAD crashes when ploting using DWG to PDF

I have AutoCAD LT 2013 with Service Pack 2.  Several month ago, autocad started getting hung up and often crashing when you the built in DWG to PDF.pc3 plotter.  One post suggested it was a conflict with Adobe Acrobat XI......but I removed that program and it did not solve the problem.  Also re-installed AutoCAD and that did not solve it.

The error reading is this.......Autocad fatal error unhandled access violation reading 0x0000 Exception at d35237aeh

I haven't installed anything new other than the usual program updates or windows updates.  I don't believe I have a virus....everything else works fine.  I also don't believe the file is corrupt either because this happens on new files I start from scratch and don't import anything into it.

Any suggestions?

What changed several months ago? LT2013 is 2+years old.

FYI: a propoer full removal of LT is often required as part of a reinstall if you are trying to fix a problem: but 90% of the time a simple Windows System Restore back to a month or year everything worked is the better first approach.
