Autocad 360 bug with Windows 8.1 mail attachments

Hi!

I downloaded and installed Autocad Lt 64 b 2015 in a new computer with Windows 8.1.

Once installed the Autocad I couldn't attach any file using windows mail. I searched on the web and found the same problem, but other people solved it unistalling the Autodesk 360.

I solved the problem signing in on the app. Now I can attach files normally on windows mail. Anyway, this is a bug that must be fixed.

I suggest to test this bug.

Thanks

Windows Mail died with Vista (or was that XP?). So which actual program do you mean?

Windows 8.1 comes with a preinstalled eMail manager.

Like I wrote: you're using Win8's cloud based mail app, much like GMAIL or YAHOO Mail on your smart phone or tablet, it's not "Windows Mail" which resided on your computer and used a subset of Microsoft Outlook.
It's interesting to know its so fragile that another web app on your PC can break it.

I'll stick with my on-computer mail apps 🙂

Hi Cuarellano,

You can solve this problem by upgrading Autodesk 360 to the latest version. If everything is working fine, you should be able to see a notification from Autodesk 360 about the update. Please install the update and reboot your machine, then your problem will be resolved.

Thanks,

Terry
