Autocad 2010 LT. Fatal Error unhandled e06d7363h exception at eb143c58h

I know I know...LT2010 is out dated, but thats what I have. I purchased a cheap HP laptop (<$300). Installed my acad LT 2010. After I open a current version 2010 LT file (simple 2D line drawing), then try to saveas to rename it, the error comes up and shuts down my computer. I tried searching for the error code but the exception code has varies, but most of what I read indicates graphics error or NET something error? any idea? is the laptop not equipped to handle acad drawings, even though it can open the file.

Hi @Anonymous,

I'm sorry you are having problems getting AutoCAD LT to run on your computer. I am guessing that it is running Windows 10. AutoCAD 2010 is not designed to run on that operating system. It came out in the Windows Vista days but will also run on Windows 7. Here are the system requirements for AutoCAD LT 2010.

This might be a graphics card issue.

Please give me some specifics:

OS

Graphics card make and model

.Net Framework version installed on your computer.

Thanks for replying...been busy on another project.   I did not have time to gather all the info you required....but continued trying to work around the problem.   The user says if they dont do a "SAVEAS" to rename the file, and just use the original filename, it works fine.

I appreciate your help...but for the time being, we will push thru this project with what we got to work with.   BUT...we will be upgrading this winter!
