asking for new serial number way before my subscription is over

Hi

When i open AutoCAD LT 2016 it asks me to renew my licence by entering a new serial number. I have a years subscription and it has only been 8 months. It was working fine until now. I have checked online and my serial number was not changed. I have entered it again into AutoCAD but it does not work.

Any Help will be much appreciated. Thank you.

I have the same problem. I was working on a drawing, quit out of LT 2016, restarted the program and now I'm asked for a new serial number? You enter your number, get a green check mark, click "activate", and it appears it's checking your liscense, and then it goes right back to the screen asking for your serial number, and then sends you an email thanking you for registering. The real problem is I'm trying to finish a drawing for submittal and have deadlines. I'm into one month of my year sub.

Does anyone know if reloading the software does the trick?

Yes, I've seen the posts and have looked at the latest info on the topic. Is there a way around this problem? Would reloading the software fix this?

Thank you!

I don't think so. But we're using permanent licensing so I can't know for sure.

Yes. That's correct. Only Desktop Subscription is affected. We don't have any Desktop Subscription - so I don't know what might work or what might not.

I doubt it. If there was a workaround, I'm sure Autodesk would have posted it already, here.

It looks like this is happening again. See: http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/autocad-lt-general-discussion/unable-to-access-lt-products/m-p/6028913...

I would have posted in the thread linked for solution by @camilo.lemos and @Azmeera.M but that's a locked thread. I couldn't find this thread right away. So I notified @Discussion_Admin

this is happening to me today too! 2/26

i have tried reinstalling the software, but now i cannot do that either.

such a waste of time, and i am losing billable hours!

iTech support - please contact me. My LT is paid through August 2016, but will not accept my serial number. It tells me to contact my dealer. But i bought this seat through Autodesk.com, not a middle-man. You are my dealer. How can i contact you - no phone or email on your maze of a website. I have used AutoCAD for 20+ years, and have never been so frustrated and disappointed. I am trying to run a business, but cannot use the software I paid for?!?!?!
