Adding custom fonts

I need to add a custom font to my program.  How do I go about installing the custom font?

TTF Fonts are part of your OS, in Windows you have to INSTALL a Font,

google for install font

SHX files - AutoCADs own?

put them in to a support path, or set a support path to you custom folder with your shx fonts.

Thanks.  I don't know why I didn't think of it earlier, but found the solution on YouTube.
