Can anyone help

I have an activation code and I have the serial number and I am signed in as a user

when I start AutoCAD iit brings up the activation screen

I enter the serial number, then the ACTIVATE button becomes live

At this stage there is nowhere to enter the activation code.

I click the ACTIVATE button.

It does not provide a place to paste in the activation code.

It just runs throuigh its checks and then does not activate

It wont accept me as another user because it recognises my email address

Hi @Anonymous,

Welcome to the Community.

Could you try launching your AutoCAD LT software once again and see if you are now able to access it? I re-synced your account to your subscription to allow you to access your software and subscription. Kindly let us know how it goes.

Thank you,

Hi,

I have similar problem.

I have the serial number and product key and I am signed in as a user.

When I start AutoCAD LT 2016 it brings up the activation screen. As I am signed in as user, the serial number and product key are already written but activate button is dead.

I retype the serial number (product key is already there), then the ACTIVATE button becomes live.

I click the ACTIVATE button and then in a new window is written 'please wait until your licence is being verified', after running its checks it does not activate and it brings me back on activation screen as it was first time I started the program.

It wont accept me as another user because it recognises my email address.

I have annual standalone licence for commercial use.

I downloaded the free trial of Autocad LT 2016 last night and it ran good.  Today it opened and worked and then a problem with windows had me back restore windows.  Now when I open it, it doesn't ask for trial or logon but goes straight to activate and serial number.  I never received an email with the serial number or any info about activating.  Where is the serial number and key code?

Hi Nelson,

hope you've already solved your problem, but if not:

They've never answered me on my post.

Therefore, I've opened a new thread:

Unable to add users nor activate AutoCAD LT 2016

after which they've opened my case and within couple of days my product is fully functional. I advise you to do the same.

Good luck,

Ana

I'm having the exact same problem, it keeps looping back and won't let me activate the product.  I wasn't able to download through the account in the begining after initally setting up our business account and purchasing the AutoCAD LT 2016 for windows, so another support person in chat sent me an e-mail link that worked for the download to install the program but now i'm looping in the activation page.  I'm also getting spammed with e-mails saying thank you for registering your product, but I can't get it to go past the activation screen and every registration e-mail has a different product serial code.  To top it all off I can't find the help chat again no matter were I look.  I need this issue resolved ASAP as I have an architect on his way to work in our office on a project for us and he will be here in a couple of days.  Please help~!!

Hi @ateplov,

You have just one seat. The user are not be able to see the product in his account because you have to assign the product to him. I will send you a private message with a screenshot. Check the envelope icon on the top right.

I am having the same issue. Worked fine yesterday. I have a 3 yr subscription, and after just 6 months, it is asking me to renew my license, input the serial number, but nothing happens other than I get an email with an activation code, but nowhere to put the code. Can you help?

I am having the same problem.  We have 2 licenses and there is one computer that is using AutoCAD LT fine with no licensing issues and another computer that won't take either license.  I am stuck in a "Renew your license" loop.

I called phone support.  The person I talked to opened a case for me but mentioned that they are having a global issue with some of the AutoCAD LT users.  No ETA yet.
