ACAD LT 2022 immediate layer change to CENTRE layer when selecting "Center Mark" or "Centerline" icon

G'day all

Happy Independence Day to all fellow users on the other side of the pond 👍 

Can somebody please advise if ACAD LT 2022 can be set up to automatically change from whatever the current layer is to a CENTRE (different spelling of "center" over here) layer, that has a preset centreline linetype/thickness and colour change selection, upon selecting the "Centre Mark" or "Centerline" icon?
It would be nice to have the layer change automatically when selecting this so l don't have to go and change propeties after dropping in the centreline cross hairs on a circle is all.

Hi,

1. Don't forget toolpalette, you can set up your own tools with settings

2. Start your command (in this case to create e centre mark)

   Press[F1]

   and follow related links, what offers all commands AND VARIABLES for this command.

In case of Centre, it is documented well.
