I want purchase ACAD 2010 LT, but I am unsure if it will run LISP routines on an add-on package I need for my small business. Does anyone have an idea of the capability for this requirement?

No LISP/VBA etc. in LT: part of the reason it is less than half the price of
full AutoCAD.

Buying an add-on to enable Lisp in LT is a violation of your LT license:

US/Canada EULA Section 3.2.7(b):
You may not utilize any equipment, device, software or other
means designed to circumvent or remove any usage
restrictions, or to enable functionality disabled by
Autodesk in connection with the Excluded Materials.

"Excluded Materials" means any programs, modules, components
or functionality, if any, that may be included on media or
with materials delivered to You that are not within the
License Parameters as described in the User Documentation,
or for which You have not paid the applicable fees.

Dean are you implying that LT comes with Lisp as a functionality only it's disabled because it is LT?

Not trying to be a butt, but I can only assume that a legitimate product that enhances the abilities of LT doesn't necessarily violate anything in the EULA. If it did, I don't doubt that autodesk would have the offenders in court immediately. Therefore, to say something IS a violation might be incorrect, unless backed up by actual court case references regarding the offending product. Perhaps it is better to say something MAY be a violation and to advise to read the EULA is all I was getting at...

What defines that exactly?

>>>... I don't doubt that autodesk would have the offenders in court
>>>immediately...<<<
When has that ever happened? Binding proceedings take years, not moments.
Look around, this is not TV court with Judge Judy 🙂
