2006LT incompatible with windows 7 home premium

I have had to reinstall 2006LT on my laptop and it won't open because it says there are compatibility issues and there are no solutions on line?

It was working before, but my laptop needed a complete clean up and Autocad 2006LT was wiped.

Since about half of LT2016 users are probably still running Win7, and the other half running Win8/8.1 and now Win10, what exactly were the error messages that you got? As you said, "it was working before" so your post is kind of vague about what the actual problem was.

Do share important details please.

Hi,

Autocad 2006LT was working ok on my laptop (Windows 7 home premium) I had a problem with viruses, which meant my local computer shop had to clean out the whole machine including the Autocad software. I reloaded it this morning, from the disc, which was successful as far as I know.

But when I click on the Autocad icon to open Autocad, I get a dialog box, that says "this program has known compatibility issues"

There are 3 choices in the dialog box :- 1 says, check for solutions on line - when you pick this it says "no solutions found"

2 says, run program - when you pick this Autocad refuses to open

3 says, cancel - which closes the dialog box

                                                              regards, John

In win7 fully updated? It needs to be SP1 level at a minimum.

Otherwise that is an odd one for sure: are you on subscription?

THANKS FOR YOUR HELP, BUT I'VE MANAGED TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM, USING THE TROUBLESHOOTER ON MY LAPTOP.
