add new line in tool's Description

Hello,

Is there a way to add a new line to a tool's description when edited in the CUI Properties?

the "\n" is not working.

Actually try  both \r\n since on Windows this is the standard line break  (CR LF)

Since lately Unicode is used you may try also to use:

U+000A 

U+000D 

or CR+LF: CR (U+000D) followed by LF (U+000A)

None of them seem to work, @hak_vz . Or I might be typing them wrong in the Description field.

At first - prove yourself that this is even possible - find ANY of the current tools that is using paragraphs in description. 

If negative, just use multiple spaces "                                   " without quotes. The width of tooltips is fixed, so there should be no issue.

Seems to me that you're ghost hunting.

Another Workaround:

What I did is type the description in Excel using Alt+Enter for new line, copy the contents, paste it on the "Description", remove the leading and trailing quotation [ " ].

Result:

I'm sure someone from this forum will find the correct ascii or escape code for ALT+Enter, then everything will be fine and dandy.
