zoom in makes the drawing disappear

i have a drawing like this which is a survey file but when i zoom in, this happens

Do you guys know why CAD is doing this?

Try ZOOM>Window instead?

it still does that. I am not sure if I am allowed to upload the drawing to anywhere.

If you cannot share the DWG file then you have to put up with dozens of guesses.

Let's start here, fix your file with these options:

1) Ensure your AutoCAD is up to date: ABOUT command will confirm what you have, if it just lists the exact version number (like 2021) then you do not have any updates installed. That could be the problem.

4) If that did not help, INSERT your problem file into a working template file from your own set, EXPLODE then file the content.

5) If that did not help, send it back to the person that created it and ask for a new problem-free file.
