i am going to have computer network in the office ,can one person use architects file by xref from different computer and do i need to have server or local cloud for office networking to keep autocad files ?

Hi,

you might have access from one CAD-workstation to another one and so use dwg-files stored on both systems.

But think about user security, think about data backup, I strongly recommend to use a central location for your files.
