Xref will load but only text of it's path

I am trying to load an xref and even though i can open it as a dwg it loads just fine but the drawing disappears. Layers on and thawed. Suggestions?

Hi,

i'm guessing here that you may need to check your xref type . i mean if it's overlay change it to attachment .

You are talking about DWG file?

Inside this (xref) file is another Xref, (which you like to see), saved with a relative path?

The relative path is not not working from the folder of your host file.

Short test: save your host file into the same folder like your xref file.

Open host file: Works fine?

The open the xref file, open the ExternalReference Palette,

check the saved path information.

... or do you just need to ZOOM EXTENTS then find it far far away?
