Xref issues

when I insert the xref it just comes up as a text the whole folder thread can someone tell me why and what can I do?

Possibly means that there is only objects in paperspace within that drawing, and that there are xref's within that drawing that you either don't have, or are not pathed correctly.

so what can I do its not the first time this is happening with this drawing I just cant figure out what I did that worked last time do you have any suggestions
