XREF Background Transparency

I'm trying to insert some XREF's into a panel drawing and I'm able to do so, but the background on these references are transparent. The wireframe itself is fine, but without a background, the din rail & so forth shows through on these. I've got an example of one that is correct & one that isn't, but I'm not quite sure what the difference is between them or how to fix it for the others. Can someone point me in the right direction?

For reference, I've dropped a couple files in. The 1410S1 file is as I would like it to be, but the keystone one isn't. I've searched on here but haven't quite found a solution to what I'm after - I'm sure it's here though & I'm just missing it. I'm just getting started here & trying to figure things out. Appreciate any help!

I just xref both into a blank dwg and neither one has a background. The line I drew can be seen through on both

Your anonymous block inside your 1410S1 DWG has a WIPEOUT in it, and it works just fine inside that DWG file.

Do you always create blocks like that? The other file is a bunch of PDF-conversion lines that are still on the original PDF layer when they were converted also into an anonymous blocks inside that DWG file. There is no WIPEOUT in this file or inside this block.

Interesting. When I xref the one that you show, I do not see any transparency through it.

I don't have much Autocad experience at all. I was honestly just trying to make some seemingly very simple updates to some drawings that we've got & was attempting to figure out how to recreate what was in that 1401S DWG. I didn't create that one -> that was actually sent to me.

The other PDF though - that's one I pulled in & was ultimately just trying to figure out how that other one had been done. I appreciate your help though. I kind of started to suspect a wipeout had been used at some point in this but I honestly wasn't even sure where to look.

I've been mostly able to recreate that for my other PDF derived DWGs, but just trying to work through some issues with the hatch boundaries. I'm sure it's simple stuff, but given my lack of experience here, even that's a bit of a struggle.  Appreciate the input though!

Save that dwg with both those xrefs. Include lines you draw through both xrefs. Do a screenshot and post that here so we can see what you’re seeing showing both xrefs of not being transparent.
Also enter Etransmit command and attach the zip file containing the dwg with both xrefs and attach it here so we can take a look.
