Hi,

AutoCAD does not have a direct control or interface to the keyboard, it gets the input from the operating system.
If 2 keyboards work different then this depends on keyboard drivers but not AutoCAD handling them.

If you have a combination of mouse + keyboard as set (one connection to USB to your workstation), this could also be an issue, that there exists a conflict.

A general rule I have when keyboard input is lagging in AutoCAD then I suggest to dock the command-line and not have the one-line version on the bottom of the screen.

Just use wired then. At least you know it works

Does your wireless keyboard need recharging or new batteries?
Or you need an all new different make/model wireless keyboard, drivers?

Nope. Tried new batteries, different wireless keyboards, Dyamode set to
zero. I only have an issue in autocad. Started with version 2020 and 2021.
Works fine with Microsoft Office etc.

Hi,

>> I only have an issue in autocad

And with wireless(!) ... as keyboard with cable seems ok.

Again, I'm quite sure that the driver or keyboard type is where you need to investigate.

Which brand/make/model? I use generic brands for both wireless keyboards and mouse(s), no issues at all with 2020/2021 in Win10Pro on a desktop at the office nor n a docked laptop at home.

Did this ever get resolved?

I've noticed that on occasion, my Logikal K270 stops working within AutoCAD (LT 2023), but works in every other program open on the machine. Presumably it has to do with AutoCAD waiting for a command (as it is after I start a process such as copy) which interferes with the computer accepting the input from the keyboard.

As to "check with driver" response, as it is ONLY AutoCAD that has the problem, it is highly unlikely that the supplier of said driver will accept it being their issue...

If this hasn't been resolved, I'll have to revert back to the wired keyboard, but seems odd that there is even a conflict really...

I never used AutoCAD 2021, but I never had issues with AutoCAD 2020 (or any other version I used) using a wireless Logitech keyboard (K750).  For a while I had issues with my Logitech mouse (MX610), but that was because the dongle needs to have direct line-of-sight to work well (I added a USB cable extension to the dongle and haven't had issues since).

I'm using the SetPoint software and driver.  I've read Logitech's newer software has a lot of issues, but haven't tried it myself.  I'm currently using SetPoint 6.67.83 with driver 5.90.41.
