Hello,
I am having a problem printing to PDF. When printing using AutoCAD PD (general documentation).pc3, most of the lines are printed in gray, and some of them in black.

My settings in the model:
- line color: white, index 7
- line thickness: 0.25 mm

Print settings:
- AutoCAD PD (general documentation).pc3
- print area size: 841x3400 mm
- rendering style: monochrome.ctb

Printing to PDF does not respond to line thicknesses either. Can anyone advise me on what to do? Thank you very much for your help. I am attaching screen of pdf and dwg files.

Hi,

this Screenshot showing the display in a pdf-program.

Change the setting in your PDF viewer! Setting, Display, something with optimize or smooth..

or use another pdf viewer

Can try :

Instead of AutoCAD PD (General Documentation).pc3, use DWG to PDF.pc3 for better results.

Also open the pdf using the Web browser to see the results.

Hi,

you should zoom much more close to the objects before creating a screenshot.
Simply compare, what you will see as lineweight = "0.25mm" when you look at the result having 3400mm as length of paper visible.

When I plot your drawing and zoom in I see this:

@XSLAO009

That's an issue with your monitor. Time for an upgrade?

Print a hardcopy to determine the true color and line weight of those lines.

Don't trust your monitor.

For me, my monitor shows this for Print Preview:

Thank you all very much for your advice. I was looking for unnecessarily complicated solutions and completely overlooked the simplest one, my mistake. Yes, it is caused by the PDF viewer. Everything works fine now. Thank you for your quick help!
