VP Transparency Not Functioning

Hi! 

I am working on a file in AutoCAD and am trying to adjust the transparency of a layer on a specific sheet viewport only. When I go to edit within the layer properties panel, nothing changes for transparency. All of the other options such as layer on/off, layer color, and lineweight can be edited and are visible once changed. I can adjust the transparency of a layer within the properties panel on an item by item basis and the transparency is displayed properly. Not sure what is causing the disconnect.

Questions:

1. What version of AutoCAD? Command About, do screenshot & share that here.

2. Are you sure you're making the adjustments while inside the Paperspace Vport and not in Paperspace?

3. Are you adjusting the column labeled under VP Transparency?

4. Could you share a sample dwg that has this problem?

You may need to check TRANSPARENCYDISPLAY (System Variable) .

checked and the variable is set at "1"

You also may want to install this update

Works fine in 2023.1.5 and I can't imagine it is a 2023.1.4 issue.

Have you tried another viewport, another layer, another file?

Hopefully @kyler_karstensURDN9 will share the problem dwg otherwise hard to troubleshoot
