Viewport issue

Hi all,

So I have this issue with my viewports on multiple drawings....

In the paper space I have a single viewport, with a model xreffed into the model space. Now I'm having to go through them and detatch these models and attach new ones. When I do this the model is visible in the model space but when I go back to the papaer space to see how it looks, I can't see it and the only way to get it back is to go into the viewport and regen. Does anyone know why this would be? Is there a way to eliminate that last bit of going into the viewport so that the new model just appears straight away? Or is this just one of those annoying little AutoCAD bugs?!

I know it's only a small issue per drawing, but when there is 76 drawings to do this on, it adds up!

Cheers,

Tom

You might try changing the Layout Regen Options on the "System" tab in Options.  --> LINK

Ahhh spot on! Changed it to regenerate each time I switch tabs, now it's fine. Thank you.

Will probably switch it back after I've done these drawings though, regenning every time I change between the two views on all my drawings seems a bit excessive, my pc is slow enough as it is!!

Thanks again,

Tom
