View Folder List in Design Center

I mistakenly hit the 'x' button on the folder list in the design center & cannot figure out how to get it back.  I am attaching a photo of what I am looking for-- a file tree that appears under the folders tab of the design center.  Without this, it's much more difficult to navigate my blocks.  Anyone know how to get this back???  Thanks!

Hi @julia_randles,

If you click the icon next to the Home on it should restore your Folder List.

Are you afraid to just click on the buttons above to see what they do? If you hover over them, AutoCAD explains each, try this one

Nothing happens when I hit that button.  I am attaching a screenshot of what I currently see.  As you can see, that feature is currently activated, but I don't have a folder list appearing.

Hi @julia_randles,

Try clicking it twice (Treeview toggle) to see if that helps.

If not, a Reset Settings to Default would likely also fix it but you would have to re-setup your customizations.

Please select the Accept as Solution button if my post solves your issue or answers your question.

Thank you!  The reset worked... now just to reset all of my user preferences.

@julia_randles - I suspect that was not needed. Looking at your screenshot, I'm pretty certain that the "divider" between the folder list and the pane on the right was simply slid all the way over to the left.

You just needed to hover your mouse over the edge, and drag the divider to the right.

@john.vellek - presuming this was the issue, this is a #Fail on the UI/UX - maybe you could relay this to those guys. You shouldn't be able to park the divider in a spot where it's not obvious where it has gone.

Hi @rkmcswain,

When I hit the close button (X) I do not see the divider bar move to the left - it does go away. But, when I do this with the Open drawings tab and come back then it is happening. I will let the team know - good catch!

Yeah, the [X] button looks like it's truly hiding the pane.
Not sure how OP's divider got to the edge. It just looked like there was some extra pixels along the edge in the screenshot. If it was up to me, I'd make it so that the divider can't be adjusted that far over. Windows Explorer works like this - you can turn off the left pane, but you can't slide the divider over all the way.

Nice theories guys, but this was definitively a glitch.  I hit that file button probably 20 times before I even came to the forum for help.  I also checked to see if there was a moveable divider-- there was not.
