Upper and Lower case reversed in MTEXT

...and NO, ALLCAPS was NOT on, I checked.  In MTEXT, I was getting all caps with caps lock off, and lower case with caps lock on, or with shift key.  I have no idea why.  I had to close my drawing, without saving my work, and re-open it to fix it.  

Any idea what key combination I hit accidentally, and how to reverse it?

This is AutoCAD 2013, but that wasn't an option in the header.

Does this happen only in MTEXT?
In single-line text also?
In other programs, NOTEPAD, for example?

Use any input management software, PutnoSwitcher, for example ?

It definitely occurred in MTEXT.

I did not try DTEXT, so I do not know if it  was happening there.

It did not affect WORD, but I did not try NOTEPAD.

There is no input management software that I know of, but this is run off the company license, and I have no idea how it is configured.

System gremlins: they are gone now. Too weird for anyone to replicate on purpose unless you can and explain how we can. Just let it go.

TEXTALLCAPS set to 0.

or

At MTEXT editor right click, check ALL CAPS

Thanks, but as I said in my original post, ALLCAPS was NOT checked, and TEXTALLCAPS was set to "0", and I was still getting the reversed caps/lowercase.

Such poor programming.  The best Autocad was the 2014 version.  Now it's gimmick garbage with random variables that turn on by themselves that you have to search for 1/2 an hour to turn off.   Terrible!

"Something"?  All I did was open the program.  Must be a ghost in the machine.  Certainly not bloated programming for a program that has the same functions and hasn't changed since 2007.

The only thing I did was open the program to continue working on a project from yesterday.  Go through the forum, there are countless cases of this occuring.  This isn't the only time variables have swithed on or off by themselves.   It's due to bloated, poorly constructed programming for a program that performs the same function, in the same way since 2007.  Except, a monthy fee now has to be paid, instead of owning the program.  Rediculous.

They don't do it themselves. SOMETHING makes it happen be it user error or some sort of customization. It may appear as though it happens randomly but that is definitely not the case. Until you can realize this, you might have to rely on knowing the program enough to be able reset these. Once you realize it, you can prevent it from happening.
