The help docs and install instructions are in there. No admin rights needed, not a real install.

Do read those install instructions as most will need to unblock a couple dlls. Its fast though.

A listing of other commands is in there too.

For those not familiar, this is a free toolset I have given out for a long time. Its not a trial, no advertising or anything sales-ish going on.

This is my App ID diagnosis tool, that also cleans them, and several other things.

It does batch layer changing, xref path search and replace, and more quickly.

It uses "dbx document" style file opening, much faster than a script would do, similar to autodesk app id cleaning tools.

Here is a pic of the interface to get thoughts going.

Basically you can see file properties before cleaning them so can tell where app ids are creeping back in from.

Lots of history on this, just know that you can always purge excess app ids and never hurt a drawing.

Every 40,000 of them adds about a mb of wasted space in your drawings, right when everyone is going cloud or remote and file sizes matter.
