Hello, I have searched the AutoCAD help files to find how to put the cubed symbol in an attribute and have found that with a romans font it should work with \U+00B3 or alt+0179.  My company standard font is romans so I cannot change it to a different one.

Is this correct because it does not seem to work anymore?  I get a "?" mark in the dialog box and on the drawing when I use \U+00B3 and I get the cubed symbol in the dialog box and a "?" on the drawing when I use alt+0179.

Thanks,

Dan

I believe the root of the problem is in Microsoft Windows as it is not posted in the character maps anymore.  Have a look for yourself.

I am currently using Microsoft Windows 7 with AutoCAD 2015 x64.

I get results similar to what you describe with Acad 2014 on Win7 64 when the text style of the attribute is based on an AutoCAD SHX font.

I have to change the properties of the attribute so that it has a text style defined with a Windows (TT) font to get the cubed symbol to appear in the DWG.
